The client

Bodypeace Bamboo is a Byron Bay based clothing brand with sustainability at its core. Inspired by the region’s natural beauty and eco-conscious lifestyle, the brand designs elegant, comfortable bamboo clothing for both women and men. Their signature fabric, a premium blend of 92% bamboo and 8% elastane, is known for its softness, stretch, and high UPF rating of 50+. Loved for its luxurious feel and ethical ethos, Bodypeace has built a loyal following of customers who value comfort, quality, and care for the planet.

The brief

The objective was to migrate from Maropost to Shopify due to Maropost’s challenging CMS. The goal was to simplify website updates, enable easier site editing, gain access to more advanced custom reporting, and improve inventory management capabilities.

How we helped

We migrated Bodypeace Bamboo’s website and retail operations from Maropost and Neto to Shopify and Shopify POS. This included a full transfer of website content, product data, and inventory systems. We configured Shopify to allow easy updates to content, metafields and imagery, making day-to-day website management significantly more efficient.

Additionally, we implemented Shopify POS across 7 physical retail stores to unify online and in-store inventory management. This setup enables seamless inventory tracking, reporting by store, and the ability to allocate or transfer stock between locations based on availability.

The result

The migration to Shopify and Shopify POS successfully achieved the core objectives. Bodypeace Bamboo now benefits from a user-friendly platform that simplifies content and image updates. Inventory is efficiently managed across 7 physical stores and the online store, with the ability to allocate and transfer stock between locations based on demand. Additionally, store-level reporting is now more accessible, enabling better decision-making and operational visibility.
