30Acres Workshop: Striving for Continuous Growth and Success
At 30acres, we believe that the second we get stagnant, we lose. Whether it’s becoming a better company, improving as a workplace, or making a positive impact on the planet, we are always striving for progress. Yesterday, we took a major step forward with a full-day workshop facilitated by Raj Sundra from Transformance, and it was a day filled with inspiration, collaboration, and plenty of big ideas.
A Workshop Surrounded by Inspiration
We chose to house our workshop locally at Stone & Wood Brewing, a company that shares our values as a certified B Corporation. As 30acres is currently on its own B Corp journey, it adds that extra flavour to be surrounded by other companies that inspire us, not only in terms of B Corp certification but in how they operate as a whole. Being in such a space reminds us of the positive changes we want to drive forward as we work to make our company better for our people and the planet. The workshop was held in a hybrid format, allowing local team members to meet in person while also including our extended team members outside the Northern Rivers area.
Celebrating Diversity and Collaboration
At 30acres, we deeply value diversity. Every team member brings something unique to the table, and we wouldn't have it any other way because we believe that’s where the magic happens. From different expertise to diverse backgrounds, this workshop was about embracing everyone’s input and making space for creative collaboration. The conversations we had were dynamic, full of new perspectives and ideas that could only come from such a diverse team.
The Future of 30acres: Big Ideas, No Spoilers
Throughout the day, we brainstormed ideas about how we can make 30acres more efficient, how we can better support each other, and what the future of 30acres might look like. There were some truly fun and exciting ideas for the future (sorry, no spoilers just yet!). What we can say is that it’s these kinds of collaborative sessions that keep us focused on continuous improvement.
Turning Ideas Into Action
By the end of the day, we took all those bold, crazy ideas and boiled them down into a focused strategy for the upcoming weeks. Framed as a team game—because who doesn’t love to win? We laid out our game plan, the objectives, and the steps needed to get us there. We’re all ready to hit the ground running, and we’re excited to see how this new strategy unfolds.
Time to Get to Work!
I’d love to sit here and write more about our amazing day, but I have a game to attend! Let’s just say, when the 30acres team gets together, magic happens, and I can’t wait to see the results of our hard work.
