Supporting Positive Change for Marine Life

At 30acres, we’re proud to be a 1% for the Planet partner, supporting organisations driving real environmental impact. One of these is Positive Change for Marine Life (PCFML), a local not-for-profit working to restore ecosystems, empower communities, and protect the ocean.

Recently, PCFML shared some inspiring updates from their program, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate these wins together.

Restoration milestones 

PCFML has completed restoration at their pilot site, with incredible outcomes so far:

• 1,000+ trees planted
• 10 homes for wildlife installed
• 200 mangroves planted (and thriving!)

And this is only the beginning. A second restoration site is planned before the end of the year, with opportunities for local businesses like ours to get involved through employee engagement days — something we’re really excited about.

Looking ahead 

Beyond on-ground restoration, PCFML is also:

• Developing and fundraising for an Indigenous-led land and sea ranger program with the Arakwal Corporation.
• Hosting A Night for the Brunswick River on August 27 at the Bruns Pub, where they’ll share stories, solutions, and launch their new interactive digital storymap.

It’s an inspiring mix of hands-on restoration, community connection, and long-term stewardship.

Our ongoing commitment 

We’re continuing our partnership with PCFML through 1% for the Planet, ensuring part of our revenue directly supports their work. For us, this isn’t just about donations, it’s about backing organisations whose vision aligns with ours: healthier ecosystems, thriving communities, and a more sustainable future.
