Although the end goal of working with e-commerce clients is essentially the same (to produce great looking, easily navigable, easy-to-manage e-commerce websites), we’ve found there’s a huge degree of variation and customisation requirements from business to business. We’ve had to be proactive and adaptable to facilitate all these extra requirements on a case by case basis, working with clients to gauge their needs and using our expertise to come up with innovative solutions.
A Shopify customisation we’ve recently worked on was with client Children of the Tribe whose request was based around managing their brilliant style of content marketing. The whole look and feel of the website gets frequently switched up with new distinct campaign images, so this client needed to be able to switch all the images over at once without a period of mixed campaign pictures appearing on the website.
The answer lay with creating a custom Shopify Homepage builder within the back end of their Shopify content management system, that allows them to upload all the images from the campaign exactly where they want them. Once the new look camaign set up is complete, they can switch the new homepage live and the changeover is seamless.
